Anyone living in Louisiana in 1991 (as I was) will remember the threats of economic boycott made against the voters if they elected David Duke as governor. While I rejoiced at Duke's defeat, I confess to some curiosity as to how many of the threats were real and how many of them were just big talk.

I voted for The Crook. He is running for Congress in the 6th District of Louisiana at age 85 after a ten year stint in Federal prison.

He can run for office as a convicted felon but cannot vote. You gotta love 'merica.

Is Louisiana still considered a part of the United States? I can't keep track.

*Until he has been dead for at least 15 years and the election is happening in either Chicago or Louisiana.

I fixed your post.

I feel that way about most of the south most of the time.
