Texas Christian is next at #37.

The TCU Daily Skiff, although by the looks of their website it looks like it publishes once a week, or four times per week (Tuesday - Friday).

This school's student newspaper has a nautical reference in its title and publishes twice a week.

2 MAC programs starting the season in the top 40, not bad considering that's the same number from the MWC

RE: Paul Myerberg's 2014 College Football Countdown: #128 to #1
I THINK that Arizona is next at #33.

Arizona, North Carolina, and Texas A&M all fit the clue but Rivals specifically lists a "Top 20" for AZ, while listing a "Top 30" for NC and a "Top 100" for TX.

EDIT: Texas A&M is #33.

Quote:UP NEXT:

Who's No. 33?
This team inked five of its home state's 20 best players in February's recruiting class, according to Rivals.com.

I THINK that Mississippi is next at #31.

Quote:UP NEXT:

Who's No. 31?
The first entry in Merriam-Webster's definition of this team's coach's last name spans seven words.

Mississippi head coach Hugh Freeze.

Freeze - intransitive verb:
1 a : to become congealed into ice by cold

Marshall may indeed have a quality team but playing the weak schedule they have and in a conference where the next highest ranked program in #60 they don't have a chance to show how good they might be.

RE: Paul Myerberg's 2014 College Football Countdown: #128 to #1
I want to see # 1 - 4.

If someone knows who is #1 do not post on social media, go to Vegas, bet the family farm, collect and retire rich.

P.S. This past March I bet on Oregon in Vegas to win the NC.

Last Labor Day week, I went and bet on FSU (after seeing their great performance over Pitt) and got I think it was 20:1 odds (FSU wasn't even the favorite in the ACC, believe it was Clemson). I bet against 'Bama.

This March I bet against FSU and went with Oregon at 8:1.

BTW, think I saw somewhere (Bovada.com?) that BG is 6:5 to win the MAC. That's pretty short odds especially as they would need to beat say NIU or UT in the MACC. Almost like saying they'll cake walk in the East and then it turns out to be a one-game season (MACC).

Oops thanks for the catch, that's 11 out of the top 48, pretty strong showing from the leagues with far fewer resources
