Do tell. What is happening. GT is stuck showing the game has not started.

Mine is fine - close it down and re-open and you'll find Rice 3-0 in T4

With the bases loaded and no outs, Shane hit a double down the left field line. Per JP, may have been misplayed by the fielder. This came right after he hit a long foul that JP claimed to be just a few feet shy of a Grand Slam.

Teykl reaches on a FC that seen McD thrown out at home.

Shane then scores on an Aquino single. 02-13-banana

A FC (Stainback) and F8 (Cook) end the inning.

3-0

How was Ford running? He avoided the double play.

RE: Rice vs. USM (Friday Game 1)
Kevin strands two runners (single, SB on bad throw, HBP) by escapes unscathed (two strikeoutsKKKK, fly out).

Reeves first pitch, leadoff single. Let's capitalize.
Ewing hit by pitch. Runners on 1B and 2B, no outs. Gotta bunt here-- let's execute!
McDowell perfect bunt beaten out for single! Bases loaded, no outs.
Hoelscher hits long, deep foul ball on 1-2 count (woulda, coulda, shoulda)...clutch 2-RBI double! 02-13-banana 02-13-banana Terrific AB by Shane. Runners on 2B and 3B, no outs. Got to get at least one more in this inning. Gotta put the ball in play here. Anywhere.
Teykl forces McDowell at the plate on a slow grounder to 1B. Runners on the corners, one out. Come on-- need to drive to the OF.
Aquino two strike RBI single! 02-13-banana Runners on 1B an 2B, one out.
Stainback forces Teykl at 2B. Runners at the corners, two outs.
Cook first pitch fly out on diving catch.
Nicely done, though Shane should have had a grand slam on that-- just inches foul.

Good guys take a 3-0 lead into the bottom of the fourth inning.

"We really need our upperclassmen (especially, our Seniors), who have a bit less academic pressure, to step up big time this weekend. That means Aquino (time to take a leadership role and turnaround your season as Ratterree did late in 2012), Cook, Hoelscher and McDowell, in particular."

So far, so good.

I don't always read college baseball game previews, but when I do, they are usually written by WaltGreenberg.

So far, Walt the Oracle has nailed it. Through 5 innings those 4 above-named Owls have 6 hits and 4 RBI. Not too shabby, seniors. Keep it going. 4-0 Owls in B5.

I need to pay better attention, or watch on something other than an iPad, so I can fire up game tracker.

Thanks.

Through 5, McCanna has tied his season high of 7 K's.

Anyone with a pitch count? Feels very efficient.
