It's simple logic pal. Legalization causes usage to increase exponentially.

If laws aren't stopping 18 year olds front drinking, then you should have no problem with the law.

How's that Cletus?

I stand by my assertion...you dont know schit.07-coffee3

I know a lot son.

So in conclusion: You really shouldn't worry about drinking laws because they don't stop 18 year olds from drinking. Therefore, there is no problem and you are upset over nothing.

Damn...Okie...You must at least over the age of 80. You sound just like my Dad...and he don't know schit about the real world either. Of course he has dementia. He gets a pass.

You think 18 year old's are new to drinking? Hell, I had my first beer at 12 and my first joint at 13. I've been down many paths in life and I've forgot more about the real world than you've experienced.

The point is lowering the age makes no sense and is not safe for 18 year olds or society at large.

Secondly, in your mind 18 year olds are drinking without hindrance as it stands now, so the law means nothing. Therefore, there is no reason to mess with it.

We both agree that the drinking age should not be lowered. Enough with the personal snipes Okie shall we. It is getting silly.

Im also against forced bar closing times but thats another debate.

You are not doing fine. You are ranked 11th in the nation for DUI related deaths

For the amount we drink I'd say thats pretty good. And without a stat on how many 8f those are 18-20 I'd call it worthless in this debate.

Removing driving altogether save ambulances would save even more but practicality is thrown out the window. We don't live in that world.
