Another transfer names, I believe Haney is a 6'6 swingman:

Another player that U o f D were originally recruiting and has a local connection announced they are transferring today: Steve Haney, a wing from UCF who spent some time at Lansing Eastern before moving to Florida. He was a freshman this past season

I would loved to have had him given that we have a one-year player, Hunter, at center, along with Samuels and Ajayi and I think I just answered my own question why Gibson didn't pick EMU:

The door is wide open at Oakland; less so at EMU. (We have numbers at C for 2015/16.)

Sounds like Gibson is an excellent fit at Oakland (need to read the article for the feel).

UDM and Oakland are getting pretty competitive recruiting wise in Detroit and Oakland County.
