RE: 117 Fans rocked the GT spring game
I wouldn't look too much into this because GT does very well during the regular season... But dang, Miami had more fans at its spring game and there 101 more things to do in Miami than in Atlanta.

RE: 117 Fans rocked the GT spring game
1) Cold driving windy rain (that is why everybody is under the east stands overhang)
2) There was probably 3-4K ... you didn't bother showing the Wardlaw/North/West stands where people were also huddled under overhangs.
3) The VT false start parade sucked all the air out of the program and it hasn't been the same since. The parade of 6-7 win "Gailey-esk" seasons doesn't exactly get one excited for the future.
4) The NCAA didn't recognize this game, so it never actually took place anyway right? 05-stirthepot
5) Cavman can't talk trash about any aspect of football to any other P5 program.
6) Of the 3-4K fans that were there, none were wearing dockers, button down shirts, croakies, and navy/orange polka dot bow ties.

And UGAg also draws more than that to the horticulture barns at 3 AM.

I presume you try to use FSU or Clemson to talk smack to VT since you can't beat them either?

Maybe they should have thrown in a science fair or a dungeons and dragons conference to boost attendance.

It's amazing a school who has such financial issues with athletics - they are almost as bad as Maryland- they seem to talk so much trash . Maybe they need to focus on accounting and finance courses instead .

Clock in 15 years where you finish with 6-7 wins nearly every year and beat Kentucky once and see where your numbers would stand.

Would that work as well as a Zebraz fashion show would for UVA?

That was probably 17 more fans than UVA brought to The Valley last time, not counting the band.

Even when we were down in football, Louisville could draw a crowd f 4 or 5 thousand for the Spring Game. 07-coffee3

It was 72 degress and didn't rain a drop all afternoon or during the game. It was a little cloudy but other than that, it was absolutely beautiful weather.

This is just as absurd as when the hoo hoo fan was making fun of VT's empty trophy case, as if UVA was actually even remotely respectable at the sport.

Things are about to get UGLY at Ga Tech!
* Paul Johnson - last season unless he beats UGA
* 2 more seasons of this and even "the Hill" may feel the heat (guessing)

He can draw a few more escape cards than just beating the tards, but beating the tards is always a free extra year.

It isn't at all clear to me that The Hill would relent or even hold the relaxations given to PJ just in the last year if/when a new HC comes in.

It is possible the new AD could hand PJ another year for another 6-7 wins (and going 0-fer against VT/UGAg/Clemson/Miami again) ... but that would use up A LOT of his political capital early in his tenure. But hey ... he came from that football non-existent powerhouse known as Xavier so maybe he doesn't know any better.

Also, relating to OP, the original post was made by a UGAg fan, intentionally left out all the stands, and never mentioned with driving 40 degree rain with 15-20 mph winds all day. In other words ... propaganda from the leg humpers in Athens.
