Question--whatever happened to TS2? Banned? Still lingering around the edges?

templefootballfan, I think the Big East splits in 2010 and the all-sports conference will look like this:

U Mass
U Conn
Syracuse
Rutgers
Temple
Pittsburgh
West Virginia
Cincinnati
Louisville
Memphis
East Carolina
South Florida

He's popped up a few times in other incarnations. But he gets booted as soon as he's detected, which doesn't take long. He's pretty obvious. You can't change a leopard's spots.

The dead horse is continually brought up by TS2 05-deadhorse Villanova can't play at the Linc unless they play Temple. Temple has the lease to play FB there until around 2015 or 2018. I think they had 15 years left
in 2003 but I am not sure. If Nova moves up and that is a big IF :drunk2: they will have to play somewhere else - more than likey at Franklin Field if Penn lets them play there IF they move up.

Ummmm....Franklin Field is an unaceptable venue as far as the Big East is concerned. Temple always got s*#t for playing there when the Vet was not available.

RE: What is your Vision of the future Big East?
Villanova is not going to upgrade to 1A they dont have the desire or money for that and are content with the current BB schools
if the BE splits there is no way the FB schools would add any members that aren't all sport members. why dump nova,pc and marquette in bb for the likes of temple, uri and a mac team?
The BE will also not add a FB team and keep only some of its current BB teams. Its all of the BB teams or none.
The ideal (easiest) situation. Call ND'S bluff. Get them to commit to some kind of FB membership. either full or half(play 4 BE's schools this year and the other 4 the next year), the 4 programs not playing ND in a given year can get work kind of arrangement with army and/or navy. IF ND refuses, tell them to get out in all sports and bring in memphis to replace them.(9 FB)
A big risk: would the BB schools agree to it?
would the b10 want ND in all sports but FB or would this force ND to join the B10 IN ALL SPORTS?
