Obama's press secretary decorates home with Soviet propaganda
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and his family are featured in a profile in this month's Washingtonian magazine.

It's the sort of adoring journalistic exercise reserved for only the most handsome of the power elite. In it you can find out details about the Carney dog (a cousin to presidential pooch Sonny!), and how much the press secretary's tie costs ($135).

But keen observers may notice the kitchen decor in the photo: Soviet propaganda posters. They really are the perfect pop of color whether you are the dour and sincere Nikita Khrushchev or the cheeky press-wrangler for a president who is constantly accused of being a socialist himself. --Michael Brendan Dougherty

Jay Suit, $895, glen plaid dress shirt, $195, foulard print tie, $135, and polka-dot pocket square, $55, all at Hugo Boss (Tysons Galleria). Claire Cotton jacquard shift dress, $299 at Karen Millen (Tysons Galleria); knotted rope crystal necklace, $98 at Ann Taylor (multiple area locations); and jeweled bracelet by Loren Hope, similar styles at Bishop Boutique (Alexandria).

$195 for a shirt and $55 for a pocket square?

But. But. They're not part of the 1%.

More from the most transparent administration in history.

Quote:As nearly two dozen Secret Service agents and members of the military were punished or fired following a 2012 prostitution scandal in Colombia, Obama administration officials repeatedly denied that anyone from the White House was involved.

But new details drawn from government documents and interviews show that senior White House aides were given information at the time suggesting that a prostitute was an overnight guest in the hotel room of a presidential advance-team member — yet that information was never thoroughly investigated or publicly acknowledged.

The information that the Secret Service shared with the White House included hotel records and firsthand accounts — the same types of evidence the agency and military relied on to determine who in their ranks was involved.

Now, it was just an intern, so it's not like it's their biggest problem. But he did get his position because his daddy (Walmart's top lobbyist, quite coincidentally) was a big Obama donor. Oh, and both daddy and his horny little son both now actually work for the Obama administration. Junior's experience with Colombian prostitutes apparently qualifies him as an adviser on Global Womens' Issues. I'm sure he's volunteering for lots of fact-finding trips.

If you compare the administration to the likes of Nero, Genghis Khan, or Stalin. I think it compares favourably to those.

Transparent because We can see through all of it's Bull$hit !
