I'd say that Nike doesn't go down that path because it's hard to pull off orange as opposed to standard, easy to match colors like navy and gray but we all know that's not the case. Nike has no problem with taking risks with awful uniforms.

Overall, I think the Syracuse uniforms are decent. I don't like all of the piping/marks for no good reason but it's hard for me to find too much to complain about for the navy and white ones. I particularly like the white.

I think everyone will know it's Syracuse if they wear an orange helmet, navy jersey, and orange pants. That's the classic Syracuse look.

The numbers read like Forrest Gump is pronouncing them. Forty Fooouuuuuur...

One would think that if they were going to unveil new uniforms that they would have displayed the Orange jerseys and pants first and foremost, since the team is called the Orange and known for its orange colors.

the reason the orange wasn't unveiled ive heard is that shafer wants it to be a special occasion alternate like at home vs fsu on October 11th. The other options can be worn at any time

Am I allowed to say that wanting to make your primary color a special, seldom-used alternate jersey is one of the stupidest things I've heard a coach say? That's saying a lot, too, because Dabo Swinney's in this conference.

I don't know where this image came from but it is apparently a helmet VT will use this year. I personally hate the cartoon logos on helmets.

They look a lot like Boise's recent uniforms. Especially the center one.

Yup. We don't back down on schedules or bad uniform ideas. We do, however, back down on wearing orange.
