Thoughts Needed...
Hey guys, I'm training for an Ironman race this summer and was thinking about "racing for a cause". I know when most people try to raise money by doing races it's usually for places like the American Heart Asc, Red Cross, ect but was thinking about trying to raise money for something NIU related, like the NIU Foundation or Huskie Athletic Fund.

I know everyone on here has an opinion, what do you all think?

My wife has been doing sprint tris for a couple years, so much respect for the amount of ass kicking you must be doing in training.

I'd go for the NIU Foundation, just because I think your potential audience is probably more receptive if you hook up with them so you can say you're raising money for need-based scholarships or something.

Where are you doing your race?
