Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.”

The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Not because I had made any conscientious, deliberate decision, but since people had been asking for as long as literally I could remember, it was no.

Now, the only child of former President Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explains, “I live in a city and a state and a country where I support my elected representatives. If at some point that weren’t the case, and I didn’t support my mayor or my city councilwoman or my congresswoman or either of my senators–and I’m lucky to live in a state where I have lots of women representing me, you know–maybe then I’d have to ask and answer the question for myself, and come to a different answer.”

If she chooses to enter politics, the "team" will choose a highly democratic area that will be infatuated with "famous people" and will vote her into an office far above the grass roots level even if she has no experience at all.........all about 1 month after she has met the established minimum residency requirements.

Your problem is that you don't even realize that this is EXACTLY the point you made by posting the wiki page for hillary.

I can envision her getting involved in NYC politics, but I tend to doubt we'll ever see her trying for Senate/Congress or anything like that.

In the 1992 campaign, there was some gossip that Clinton had at least one child outside of marriage. I suppose it's possible, but I think we would've seen some proof by now if that were the case.

Look at it this way: by the time Bill Clinton was the age that Chelsea is now, he had already run for office four times (lost for Congress at 28, won for state Attorney General at 30, won for Governor at 32, lost for re-election at 34). Even if Chelsea does have the political bug, she obviously doesn't have it as bad as Bill does.
