Props to the UC bearcats.......
UC has played the toughest schedule by far of any Big East team and they have actually played very well against 3 solid teams on the road. Cincinnati was very well prepared against Louisville yesterday and playing that tough schedule helped them. This is what I think other Beast teams should do, it only helps you when you are playing the big east schedule. If you can hang tough with Ohio State, Tech, and almost beat Louisville, that is such a confidence booster for a team. I"m not really into moral victories, but I think UC fans can go ahead say that got a couple this year. Nobody expected you guys to hang with any of those three teams you played tough this year. I think Dantonio toughness is starting to rub off on his players. That guys is a helluva coach who brings a Big 10 philosophy to this conference. He may make games a little ugly but it gives his team a chance against very good opponents. I just hope the administration at UC would give this guy the resources he needs, because he can make Cincy a consistent winner. Plus he has a young team.
I thought Dantonio had the best game plan any team has ran against us since Petrino has been here. They slowed the game down and played a ball control / field position type game. I felt like I was watching a Big 10 game. They certainly won the field position battle and they moved the chains. Any Big 10 fan would love the way the bearcats played yesterday. I just came away impressed with how much improved the bearcats are. I must admit I didn't think UC had a chance yesterday, after watching the game live and seeing how tough they played Ohio State and V-tech, you can't help but to be impressed with this Cincinnati team especially with the schedule they have played this year. So certainly big props to the Bearcats. You guys will be in alot of games this year especially if you play with the same confidence you played against us yesterday. That was a helluva game. ;-)

That is funny that you mention UC's style being similar to the Big Ten because I have always looked at UC as an unofficial Big Ten team in terms of style. That's why UC has given Big Ten teams trouble over the years. And that's why I thought UC was a perfect fit for the Big East.

I agree. Was at a wedding in New Orleans yesterday getting phone updates. Great game effort cats, thats what the league needs. I hope your fan base starts to realize what they have in Dantonio and commit to the program before its too late.
