will they "provide FBS info", which could be as little as using the acronym "FBS" in a sentence? maybe.

will they announce or vote on a conference move? no. i wouldn't get your hopes up.

At what time today will we officially be able to conclude that they've let us down again? One likes to prepare for these things.

I don't expect anything official until May 26 - June 1 window. There might be interesting hints coming from the board meetings, but I'm skeptical a public vote on membership occurs today. More likely a special session of BOV for that.

Wasn't the last BOV mtg "book it" day? Needless to say, no expectations for anything today. If they're smart, they hold off SB as long as possible while begging the MAC to risk a "one this year, one next year" strategy that I'm guessing from the "group of schools" comment they are very disinclined to do.

This is what I was telling you guys yesterday. There are no plans to discuss FBS realignment today. If they do, it will be a special meeting. This from a member in your AD.

You won't hear anything today and you won't hear anything by June 1st. If the admin is this disgusted by the prospects of being in the Sun Belt after another year, nothing is going to change. Considering the vast majority of JMU alums have no idea what is going on with this and only a small fraction of diehards are making their voices heard, I can't imagine they'll take the concern of a vocal minority that seriously.

Maybe after all the listening tours and surveys and Carr Report consultations, they did make a decision like some here want...and that decision was they would rather stay in the CAA and hope for another opportunity than go the Sun Belt. I personally don't like it, but I can't write an 8 figure Pickens like check to them to sway them my way, all I can do is slowly lose interest over time.

I expect to hear nothing and be disappointed.

I think it definitely comes up... Actually the athletic committee has already met at this point. Maybe they announce something but I doubt it... Not until they know they are getting the best possible offer.
