Curtisc83. I'm not in the habit of saying 'Thank you for your service'. But I will tell you thanks for doing a good job. What Liberty provides for Military people is awesome. I wish our Govt would take just as good care of them, but that's another story

Look...if you're a middle aged mom with three kids you aren't going to uproot your family to go get a master's degree in a residential program. Maybe you don't live near a major university that has your major. Maybe you want the Christian aspect of Liberty or the military discount but don't want to uproot and move here. EVERYONE has online programs...we just happened to have more students....part of the reason is we started the distance learning program in 1985...well ahead of the curve.

So tell me ASUPATCH.....should our active duty service men and women overseas not be allowed to take online courses to further their education? What do you suggest they do in any downtime they have? Wouldn't that time be more productive if spent earning a degree they could show to potential employers upon their homecoming in the states?

Everyone wants to talk a good game about how they hate online education....look at the people who are actually doing it. Real people with real lives and real challenges trying to make themselves better people....tell me again how they shouldn't have that opportunity.....especially if the school is fully accredited and the programs are 100% legitimate?

University of Phoenix is NOT fully accredited...Liberty's online division is. MAJOR difference.

If that purpose is devouring money and shitting out worthless diplomas, then yes, I agree.

It must be great to be you. You seem to know everything about everything. And even better.... you are willing to pass on your considerable knowledge to the rest of us. Such a humanitarian.

Indeed, it is.

And yes, you're quite welcome.

Truthfully, I really couldn't care less how some Louisiana hillbilly views me.

You're an idiot, and thus your opinion is worth less than dirt. But please continue to think you are some sort of "rival" to me. It really is quite adorable seeing a grown man act like you do.

I very seldom, if ever, agree with your posts (no offense intended), but in a messageboard showdown with mathenis, I am solidly in your corner. I am sure he will have some "smart" comment in response to this post, but his level of immature, abusive, arrogant and condenscending posting is an embarrassment. When WKU and its posters leave for CUSA, could we please leave mathenis with you?

I thought WKU fans were hillbillies and Cajun fans were swamp rats. I am so confused!

That's okay. It's not all that surprising.

Carrying on a discussion with someone who is Radar's pooper scooper that has the corresponding level of intelligence and maturity needed for such a job is tough. When you grow up, we'll talk....... or not.

Well, when I "grow up", I'll still be better than you, so that's going for me.

And today I learned that one's behavior on an internet college sports forum is indicative of personality in the real world.

I look forward to more of your armchair psychoanalysis, Dr. Phil.

I don't demean people who disagree with me.

I demean people who say stupid things.

I don't even have anything against you. I'm not sure why you decided to throw your opinion in this.

I am not sure why you threw your opinion into a discussion of Liberty' academics when they are wanting to join a conference that your team will not be part of. I just got tired of your insults about another school, and your calling another person an idiot, and your attempting to insult someone by calling them a hillbilly when that term is more accurately applied to Kentuckians not Louisianans.
And I am not sure why you are the arbiter of what is stupid. Because you think something is stupid does not make it so.
That is my point.
You can disagree with someone's opinion without attacking their intelligence.
