This has been the most up and down weather since February I have ever seen.

Where exactly in eastern NC was the tornado? Asking because my folks live about 40 minutes west of Grenville.

I thought the same thing....irony.

Tornado hit about 20 mins north of Hattiesburg on Sunday night. Leveled about 25-30 homes and left 9 people injuried. Thankful no one killed.

These things are nothing to joke about.

Tornados are such fascinating weather events. That first photo looks like something you'd see in the plains.

The first one was just outside Belhaven, on the east side of Washington NC for you none ECU people (an hour east of Greenville). Lots of wide open farm land and wetland.

I guess ya'll are now getting what we had Sun/Mon. Created a lot of flooding around here & some road closures due to the water/mudslide/trees down

I actually kind of like SJ (I like his determinism and use of stats) but I've got to take the opportunity when it presents itself..

"Based on the tornado's adjusted RPI, this tornado isn't that strong. It has only swiped up 4 houses per mile and they're mainly structurally over rated 2* houses.
