Srimmage Report
UNT wasn't at full strength this morning, but it appears the Mean Green will field a team that can compete for a bowl birth next season.

Players are stepping up and filling voids left by several key seniors from last season squad.

- Erick Evans, Fred Scott, and Sid Ellis all look like they could be standout players on next seasons team.

- At times the defensive front 4 looked solid against the starting O-Line. UNT's O-Line is the strength of the offense heading into next season.

- The QB competition is a two man race right now. McNulty and Greer are battling it out for the starting job. Williams could get back into the chase in Fall camp, but right now he isn't preforming at the level of Greer and McNulty.

There is still a long time until the start of next season, but if this team continues to improve, I believe it will be in the hunt for the C-USA West title next season.
