Canadian judge orders stay of proceedings in police beating
Four Toronto cops beat a man already in custody twice. Then they lied and colluded and prosecuted him.

The judge ordered an immediate halt of the trial after the video of the beatings came out.

To quote the Canadian newspaper,

Quote:Video is there to watch the watchmen and serves to protect the interests of everyone in the justice system. Because unlike the police officers in Curtis Young’s case, videos don’t lie.

Quote:preliminary results show that complaints against police in those jurisdictions have fallen as much as 80 per cent when used by front-line officers.

Imagine that.
