It showed a bar chart comparing the number of Obamacare enrollments as of March 27 — 6 million — to the original projection of 7 million by March 31 from the Congressional Budget Office. There was a slight problem with the way the network portrayed things, though, as Media Matters noted.

Think you can spot it?

Each bar above 6Million is 200,000 people. So it's 100% accurate.. Skewed in terms of graphics , but it's right.

If you count the lines, there are 3 in the 6 million bar. Therefore, they appear to represent 2 million per line.

If that is correct, then the projected 7+ million should only be half a line above the 6 million.

I explained it above. The TV networks generally truncate the bottom of graphs when there would be significant overlap. It's not that hard to understand.

This thread is about fox news' graph. Please try and stay on topic.

Wouldn't the topic be groups that manipulate graphic presentations to influence the public?

It's sad when the White House isn't held to a higher standard of truth than a company whose job it is to 'sell' you something.

6 million divided by 30 million = .200

That would be a good batting average for a pitcher.

Actually the original number was 45 million. And 7 million over 45 million is .155, which is about average for a pitcher.

Anyway, it's great that all these people have health insurance. Now comes the hard part. Let them get sick and see if that health insurance buys them any health care.

The libs often tout that Obamacare eliminates the pre-existing condition rejection but what they don't tell you is that the insurance company can underwrite these policies and in effect, make them unaffordable.

And even when the policy is affordable, this increases moral hazard and adverse selection for the insurance companies.

Exactly. I've said this very thing and it falls on deaf ears, and blind eyes. Reminds me of the booze cruise a bunch of us went on over spring break in the bahamas- 60 bucks!!! The ad screamed!!! Bring your own, OR enjoy our unlimited Rum Punch!!!

All my friends said Yay!!! Free drinks! Unlimited rum punch!!!

Dunk, why you packing a bottle in the back pack?!?

Cause unlimited don' mean free ya big dummies...

Same thing. No more exclusions for pre-existing conditions!!! Yay!!! The lemmings scream.

You can't afford the policy, of course, but it's available! suckers.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American people...
