RE: Battle 4 Atlantis
I couldn't find anything concrete, but reading other message boards, it sounds like you can just walk up to the box office and buy tickets. I doubt any of the games are sell-outs, and no good business is going to turn away money.
On the Atlantis website, it advertises special room rates with the purchase of a ticket to the games, seeming to indicate this as well.

My point was it's cheaper to fly Air Tran out of Atlanta and cheaper to NOT stay at the resort and not to eat at the resort. While the prices I quoted may go up a little it will still be considerably cheaper than the other prices.
FWIW with Air-Tran / Southwest & Spirit, just because it is a holiday does not necessarily mean fares will be more expensive if you purchase in advance. Being a frequent flyer of both I have received some pretty sweet deals purchasing in advance. If you wait until the last minute fares will be more as with any date.
BTW, if you book a flight for AirTran, be sure to book it thru the southwest.com website. That way you pay no luggage fees. If you book on AirTran.com you pay luggage fees.
