210 lbs??? We have guys who are 220-230 lbs playing DE and they are getting bumrushed on almost everyplay! It'll definitely have to be LB if he converts to defense.

Ooookay so 247 has him at 210 lbs and Rivals has him at 235, HUGE difference. If he is in fact 235 then he could definitely be converted to DE, especially if he adds 10-15 lbs which is natural.

Once he's into the program he will gain weight and mass. Many times coaches look at the body frame and project to OL or DL. Doug Free was a TE in High School.

hudl has him at 230 as well. he is definitely an OT prospect, just watch his highlight tape. wayyy better blocker than receiver, runs a 5.18 40 and has a 23" vertical. Crawford will be our TE of this class and his kid could turn into a helluva OT, has a great frame for it.

The players we have verbals from now are players that we targeted early. These are our first/second choices.

Agreed, does anyone have what his numbers were as a junior QB last year? Hopefully it warrants us giving him the early offer, although it must have been half way decent for Big Ten schools to be interested.

Illinois has their QB for the year. They might have sent mail but doubt they are interested now.

After looking at the tape I must say I am impressed. Looks like we are now set at QB for the next several years. This guy and Landon Root will make a solid tandem while they are in school together.

Just watched his Hudl tape as well...agree impressive; built much different than his brother.
