Glad we have some company up there in the 10k range finally... Like I've said, I'm hoping your support keeps up for next year!

Did the announcer say the Miners are hosting Rutgers at 1pm on Saturday?

Yep! That's the first game of the championship series (I think it's a Best of Three).

I think it's just one game.

This is true. - Just one game. Must've been another tourney or a previous format I was remembering.

I absolutely LOVE it when other schools get super duper involved with women's basketball.
Set a new record against the Huskies! Ours is just under 12k, think you can beat it ?
We used to claim The Don had a capacity of 12,222. Most agree it was an estimate and not an exact capacity. We lost a few hundreds seats due to different renovations. I believe handicap seating was one of them. Even if every last seat was sold, I'm not sure if 12K is possible. Maybe some other Miner fans can chime in. For some reason, I'm leaning toward 12.1K being out capacity but 11.9K stands out as well.
I think the capacity is officially 12,000.
Hopefully we find out on Monday night
I guess it's back to 12,222.
The story that I've always heard is that no one really knows the actual number of seats in the place. Essentially, for whatever reason, Strelzin liked how 12,222 rolled off the tongue. So, when the Special Events Center was sold out, he would announce 12,222. I thought after Coach retired, they went around and did an official tally of 12,000.
But, whatever.
