After reading your comment that 'snarky' is close to meaning loud, I would have to disagree again. Looking up the definition in the American Heritage Dictionary, published in 2006, the word 'snarky', means; Rudely sarcastic or disrespectful; snide, or; Irritable or short-tempered; irascible. I'm sorry, but Ms. Maddow is none of that, but Mr. Limbaugh is, and realistEagle is correct about Mr. Limbaugh.

I pity those who listen to either person. Political discussion on radio and TV is at an all time low and those two are part of the reason why. Where have you gone Buckley and Gore?

A couple of years ago Maddow issued a mea culpa about some statements she made about Limbaugh.

It seems that Maddow used a year old tape of Limbaugh and claimed it was from the day before. Apparently the timing was pertinent to the issue. A charitable explanation was that she was careless and negligent, but it was an accident. A cynical one was that she tried to manipulate her audience and smear Limbaugh, but got caught. I don't know what the truth was.

Maddow: I’m in a face-off, a huge fight, I’m in a massive brawl with Rush Limbaugh right now. And you know what? Rush Limbaugh wins.

Actually I'd prefer that we not engage in too much political discussion here. There are lots of other places for that.
