RE: Next seasons schedule
With the 18 game schedule, I really hope Charlotte can get home and homes with UAB, ODU, WKU, MT, and Marshall.

If we get stuck with one of the Florida schools, or god forbid, both, I might just give up.

You and me both. We'll just have to wait and see what they decide to do I guess.

Whether or not UAB had made the Dance can be debated at nauseum. Too many what if's would be involved. But if:

1. UAB had won their home conference games.
2. Not lost to UNT, FAU, and FIU.

UAB would have had a resume that would have put it in the discussion for an at-large. Even before conference play started, most of us said UAB would have to go at worst 13-3 in conference with no bad losses to be in the discussion for an at-large.

We still wouldn't have made it. We need a stronger OOC schedule.

You don't know that and we needed to win the conference games we were suppose to win.

RE: Next seasons schedule
as blazers9911 already said, play with the website below...

http://www.rpiwizard.com

winning those 5 games would've given us an rpi in the 80s, leaving the other wins/losses as is. What team have you seen get an at large with an RPI in the 80s?

Are there any good juco post players or big men still available? We could even use a rebounder/garbage man type of olayer. Doesn't have to be a great scorer.

If there was a juco shooter available, I'd take him as well. We already have good depth at the forward/center position.

You guys must be forgetting that Rucker and Washington were both hurt at the end of the season. We lose before the finals of the c-usa champ and we don't even make the nit even winning this 5 wtf losses

They weren't with USM.

We need to call every regional mid major on the radar(Belmont, Mercer, and Georgia State jump to mind) and figure out a way to get another power conference school on the schedule. If we want to have a chance at the tournament, it needs to start OOC, and teams like DePaul won't cut it.

Not sure why we don't play in every sport OOC but it looks like we are moving in that direction.
