Any team that lives by the three point shot, when hitting 12-15 in any given game, is going to win that game 90% of the time. That's scoring 36-45 points, which in most cases is half or more than what the team scores overall.
The problem is what everyone has heard before, "Live by the three, die by the three". Some teams in the last few days of all tournament action have won by scoring what I have just pointed out. If they go cold in their next game, it will be lights out for them. That's why I don't like teams that just throw up threes. I know it has changed the game, but I think you are better off working under the basket, or taking short jump shots.
