What I was impressed with was their ability to handle the defensive pressure late in the game....something they didn't do in the last game. they obviously worked hard on it in the interim.

I am used to this having been a lifelong UT fan! But, it still hurts every time! OH WELL!

I agree. But I'd still rather be a UT fan over any other school in the country.

The Broncos obviously owned the Rockets, so congratulations to them. I hope they can make a run to the Sweet 16 and the Rockets can make it deep in the NIT.

Kinda like how WMU had Toledo beat the last time these two teams played? Can't relax on teams when you're up big, WMU got burned with that a few times this year, both games against Toledo, BGSU, CMU... but were able to pull most of them out.

Your team has had a great season, hopefully you get rewarded and keep playing for a couple more weeks.

Rockets are to blame 100% for this loss. They didn't play with fire or passion and looked lackluster throughout the game, especially when they were "playing" defense. And playing is about all it was. They certainly didn't appear to have any defensive skills at all. I don't blame the refs for the loss in any way, but it frustrated the hell out of me that the refs allowed Whittington to do pretty much what he wanted without calling him for his many, many fouls. That did not cost us the game however. Crappy play and lack of resolve is what did us in.
