RE: UCF Game Thread
Napier's statement says a lot about him as a player/person.
SK can prove he is the better person and player tonight.
Bring it SK!
I want to see the UC offense tonight like the one they brought against Memphis...

What a d*ck.
SK is going to take it from Napier tonight. It would be great if after UC win's Napier comes out of the UConn locker room and hands the trophy to SK.

Winning basketball games this time of year isn't easy. The bottom part of a league has nothing to lose, sometimes they are playing for the coach's job. The bottom line is winning not how you win. (Unless you are Louisville who blows out everybody but can't beat Memphis.)
Cincinnati-UConn is becoming a nice little rivalry.
Good points bearcatlawjd. All that matters is win (pretty or ugly) and advance. No style points. Just win baby!
I was shocked how poorly Memphis played in their house. I felt before the game that I would rather face UCONN than Memphis with their home crowd behind them. I expect a close, physical dogfight tonight and a win by our Cats.
Go Coogs!!!

I wanted to see UConn again because Napier is one of my least favorite players. The dude can flat out ball but if you read his comments about SK, watched him fight with his teammates, and act like a drama queen on every non-call you wouldn't like him either. I am sure UConn fans can't stand Jackson, Rubles, or SK because our guys have a swagger to them to probably gets under the skin our opponents.
Bearcats-Huskies has a chance at becoming the best rivalry in the American. You have Lance Stephenson getting fouled with no time left in the 09-10 season. UConn getting the best of Cincinnati at 5/3rd Arena and knocking the Cats out of the tournament on their way to the title in 10-11, SK hitting the buzzer at UConn in the 11-12 season, and the four game split over the last two years where every game was a fight to the end. Add in the Player of the Year award snub this season for SK and you have yourself a very interesting matchup tonight.

Napier should have got an award from the AAC for career achievement in flopping. The guy has game but he's a jack wad.

He wouldn't stand a chance of winning that award over Russ Smith.

XU's players have the art of the dramatic flop down pretty well too.
I really hate the acting to draw fouls.
Man up and win it on the floor not begging for fouls with an academy award acting job.
