Pitt recruit picked for Army All-American Bowl
The U.S. Army All-American Bowl selection committee will announce during a news conference at Central Catholic today that offensive lineman Stefan Wisniewski was chosen to compete in the prestigious game.
The game will be played Jan. 6 at San Antonio's Alamodome.

Wisniewski, a 6-foot-3, 270-pound senior, who holds 20 offers, has narrowed his college choices to Boston College, Michigan, North Carolina and Penn State.

The committee will head to Dormont Memorial Stadium on Friday to announce prior to the Keystone Oaks/Elizabeth Forward game that Keystone Oaks guard Chris Jacobson also was selected.

Jacobson, a 6-foot-3, 290-pound senior, has verbally committed to Pitt.

Of the 400 high school players nominated, 78 will be selected.

Six other WPIAL standouts were nominated: Greensburg Central Catholic's Nick Sukay, Gateway's Jon Ditto, Valley's Toney Clemons, Aliquippa's Brandon Lindsey, Mt. Lebanon's Andrew Devlin and Keystone Oaks' Myles Caragein.
