That would be a great get for Pitt. Miami's recruits are wavering due to all the rumors of their coaching situation

Will he be eligble, that is the question with him. From what I understand great talent and hopefully he is on the right track and headed for Pitt.

He is currently at Milford Academy. I'm not sure what his academic situation is. If he gets eligible in time to enroll in January, Pitt could have a true freshman at QB and RB next season.

What about Bill Stull, he was somewhat highly regarded a couple of years ago at QB.

4* Bill Stull battling 5* Pat Devlin for the starting job. A very nice problem to have.

I hope the Cuse staff is continuing to recruit Paulus. He might think twice given that Bunting might get canned after this season. BTW Cody Catalina is a 3* QB who should fit Greg Robinson's offensive system better than Perry Patterson ever will.

We also have a highly touted kid named Anthony Robinson who alot of folks feel is ready to relieve Perry Patterson of his duties right now. He will more than likely be a starter before Catalina. They both should be good.

George Carlin once said in regards to women that he never had a "10" before, but he had five "2's" one night. If Pitt can't get this five star guy, maybe they can get five one's. I am sure there are at least that many inside of the wall that Wannstache has built around western PA.
There once was a head coach from Pitt
While trying to show off his wit
Told the lady sportscaster
We have to run faster
Then they came out and laid down and quit

Pitt needs a back. It's a pity he'll come along after their QB graduates. But it looks like a good get, if they pull it off.

Go Pitt. That will be good for the conference recruiting rating as well.

Recruiting rankings don't always mean as much as people try to credit. Pitt has always topped the conference in recruiting. It's a pity it doesn't seem to transfer itself to the football field. On that end, the Panthers have been mired in mediocrity. I hope they rise above that this year, but with Wanny in Pittsburgh it wouldn't surprise me if it happened again.
West Virginia, on the other hand, always seemed to rank in the lower middle of the conference in recruiting. Even now they are ranked in the middle of the national pack. But they always seem to rise above that ranking when playing. And remember, Slaton wasn't on the national recruiting radar at all. He was overshadowed by Jason Gwaltney, the Mountaineers' supposed 'back of the future'. So much for recruiting rankings.
