Ya' know...with me, I try to entertain, both others and myself in posting in these threads (otherwise, why waste the time--just watch the games and read the scores.) Once in a while I'm going to go off a bit...oh, well. There are worse things in life, believe me, I know.

My goals are to root for Rice to be the best in sports it can be, root for America to be the best country it can be, to have some fun, and to provoke thought and learning. Sometimes, a seemingly ridiculous idea or tangent, can lead to an insight or provoke a useful thought. I'd rather take that chance than to censor. Deal with it. And Go OWLS!

One of my favorites. I always wonder if he means Dublin, Ireland, or Dublin, Texas.
