Hypocrisy, thy name is
UCF. I don't know how many times I've had to read about how "USF inflates their attendance numbers" and how awful this practice is. The bulk of those statements were made by UCF fans who were quick to point out that UCF counts butts in the seats. Which makes the following paragraph from today's Orlando Sentinel just that much funnier...
The size of the crowd is debatable. Announced at 46,708, the actual ticket and student ID count was 38,209 according to Allen Johnson, Orlando Centroplex director. Johnson points out that the lower number does not include band members, Centroplex employees, police, media and others. So my guess is that the true number lies somewhere between.

Yes, I know this one's destined for the smack board, but I laughed out loud that UCF counted almost 8500 phantom fans, which is probably about the same number of times their internet fandom ripped USF for not counting butts int he seats.

Seriously I'd like to thank USF for beating UCF because its really cleaned up this board and made it a nicer place to be.

You're reaching again. Kind of like the plastic fan thing or maybe that was fsquid. You guys tend to blend together.
How about UK thrashing Ole Miss?

Reaching? How do you figure that? You're thankful for folks disappering after losing to USF. Short memory, huh? Come on L-yes, if you can dish it out you should be able to take it better than that.
I have no idea about the plastic fan. Must have been squid.
I loved seeing Kentucky beat Ole Miss. Can't stand them or their fans. Their offense is terrible. Our defensive coordinator was fired yesterday. One of the final straws was the fact that he was unable to stop Ole Miss' terrible offense in our season opener.

UCF fans were constantly over here- and will no doubt be back shortly- to remind us all how much USF sucks compared to them. I'm glad they're gone. Has nothing to do with Louisville's loss at USF last year. They're similiar to the way you're always over here trying to remind me that we lost to USF last year. When thats all you've got I guess you run with it.
I noticed JLD's name crossing the ticker on CSTV last night. He went from being one of the most celebrated defensive minds in the country to being fired from the Memphis DC job in less than 10 years. Sucks to be him.

What are you talking about? What we're talking about is how UCF fans flooded this board prior to the USF game and were just trashing them and now are MIA. What does Kentucky vs Ole Miss have to do with USF, UCF and the Big East?

1. Kentucky-Ole Miss has absolutley nothing to do with it. L-Yes asked me about Kentucky beating Ole Miss as a jab because he knows my Tigers got beat by the Rebels in week 1. I simply answered his question. I can take it.
2. I wouldn't worry about the rest. It's probably over your head. I simply find it ironic that L-yes brings up folks clearing off a message board after their team got beat by USF. He knows what I'm talking about. Just another jab.

Harry Wisner, the original owner of the AFL franchise New York Titans, now the Jets, once announced the attendance at one of the team's home games in 1960, the first year of the league. The number he gave was so unbelievable that it lead one NY sportswriter to say: " Yeah, and 20,000 of them were disguised as empty seats."

The cards getting their ass whipped was only one reason for his vacation.
He looked pretty damn foolish for this stupid guarantee.

Well, he was wrong about both predictions. But you've got to admit that he's handy with the computer.

Agreed. Why 3601 and others are obsessed about it is anybody's guess.

Obsessed with what? I think you're obsessed with me.
Once again, what L-yes and I are talking about is probably WAY above your head. I wouldn't waste too much time trying to figure it out if I were you. You're probably going to give yourself a headache.

LOL! You're not obsessed yet you start threads about Temple. Threads about nonsensical Big East expansion. Even this thread you came out attacking someone for one comment. Lets not forget you getting pissed off because Big East fans were *gasp* HAPPY! You even called out a poster because a Big East poster had the gall to post good news about the Big East conference! OH MY GOD!

If I went around the C-USA threads starting threads like this I would get absolutely ripped to shreds and rightfully so.
