If we win (and that's a freakin' huge if) would we get LA Tech in the next round? Assuming they win...

Interestingly, according to the CUSA board, the NiT uses tournament seeding to determine who gets the Auto bid. So La Tech would get the auto bid, but only if they don't go to the NCAA tourney. If La Tech wins the CUSA tourney, no one gets the auto bid for the NIT

7-9 in the league is such a huge underachievement, unfortunately. Even if this team had gotten drilled by UNC and New Mexico, it should have at least been a 10-6 type of year.

I thought we had the talent to beat almost anyone, however unfortunately we could stink it up to lose to almost anyone.

We couldn't close the deal at the end of many games this year.

We end up with essentially the same conference record, tourney seed, and rpi as last year. Yucks

I miss the good ol days of CUSA 1.0, a solid basketball conference, when conference tourney games were on ESPN/ESPN2 until the finals for CBS.

It's Conference USA in name only. After this school year, there will only be two original members still in it (i.e. left behind): Us and Southern Miss.

We have a really tough road to the championship. Charlotte is much like us in that they are a good team that has underperformed and has the capability to knock off good teams. Plus they will want revenge after that sh!t show in Charlotte two weeks ago.
