lol, my cat's food is up on the desk with this laptop to keep it away from the canines - happens all the time to me - pages turned, sound muted, etc.

Back to the OP, we should be ranked NOW.

We are at #35 in the ESPN poll

http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/c...5-march-3/

Baseball America doesn't list others receiving votes from what I can see. I also think there is one more poll that college baseball uses, but I cannot find it.

There are five college baseball polls. Coming into your game tonight vs. Ole Miss, Memphis baseball is #4 in the RPI.

IF the Tigers can beat Ole MS and beat the remaining teams this coming weekend, they will be ranked in the top 20 next week. Stay tuned.

RE: Baseball Top 25
We are 10-1. #4 in the RPI. #26 in SOS. And a win over #7 Mississippi State. No reason we shouldn't be ranked in the top 25. 26-30 is Kansas (11-1; RPI of 25; SOS 129), Arkansas (7-2; RPI of 183; SOS 257), TCU (7-4; RPI of 138; SOS 173), Rice (7-5; RPI of 69; SOS 88), and Clemson (6-4; RPI of 87; SOS 85). Ridiculous. Based on RPI, SOS, Record, etc, we should be ranked around #12ish right now. Oh well. Just keep winning.

Is it? I know CUSA with Tulane and Rice was actually really good. I wasn't sure if schools like Rutgers, UConn, Temple and Ville were good at baseball.

The AAC is sixth in the RPI ahead of the ACC, Big 10, C-USA, etc.

A lot of that is due to our Memphis team!

We WERE in a fantastic baseball conference, in both the CUSA and the old CUSA. The AAC will more than likely be quite a step down.

IIRC, the AAC has 5 teams in the RPI top 100 right now. And Louisville is not one of them. We add Tulane and ECU next year. This will be a good baseball league. Memphis, Tulane, Houston, Cincinnati, Uconn, ECU, UCF

Like in basketball, the RPI doesn't mean much this early in the season. Let it shake out a little. It's still hard to envision this league as good as a league with Rice, Tulane, Houston, Southern Miss, ECU, UCF.
I agree that with the addition of Tulane and ECU, it will help even with the loss of Louisville.

And it's only 3 in the top 100 on warrennolan.com fwiw

Yeah I just looked. A couple were just outside 100. With Memphis, Houston, ECU, Tulane, Cincy, Uconn, UCF, etc, it's hard to believe that wouldn't be a good league. Maybe a step down, but solid.
