The opening round game has #2 Mercer against #7 Jacksonville.

Mercer swept them 2-0 in the regular season and held them to an average of 52.5 points. Keep that defense up and this one is a guarantee!

Anyone have thoughts on the tourney? We can keep this thread going for the whole tournament.

Of course we want Stetson to beat FGCU, but that is about a 5% chance. I think we want Lipscomb to beat ETSU, as I feel they can beat FGCU in the semi-final.

On our side I feel we want UNF in the semi-finals even though they beat MU twice. I think Mercer can wipe the floor with them given another opportunity.

We absolutely want ETSU to win their game. We also want UNF. I don't want anything to do with Upstate. They are a bad match up for us plus its almost impossible to beat a conference team 3 straight times. I like our chances with UNF. Unfortunately I think we are going to have to end up going to FGCU to finish this thing off. We don't play there well at all. We shall see though. It will be an interesting tourney.

Interesting game so far... Up by 9 at the half. Mercer had pushed it to 15, but have since given up a wide open 3, and now fouled a 3 point shooter.

Mercer leads 51-39 with JU 3 shots coming. 14:00 minutes 2nd.

JU has only averaged 53 points against MU this year. I'd say if Mercer hits 65 points they can't lose.
