RE: Those REFS wanted us to lose but...

Dixon was reckless reaching on one defensive possession when he had 4 fouls, and he could have been called for the push off on Smith on offense. Obviously, the Von Treese moving screen was a makeup call. It's a little foggy right now since it was 3 days ago, but the refs were definitely on our side at the end of the game.
The refs were on our side most of the 2nd half. We were in the bonus with 12 mins left while we only had 2 fouls called on us at that point .

Dixon got a blocking call against Harrell that was the correct call, but could have easily been called a block and would have probably been a block last year. They gave us a make-up call against Van-Treese right after the flagrant (and lets not act like this is first time Pellom has gotten a little carried away). They could have called Geron for a foul when Russ Smith went up and was stripped. Again, it was clean but I have seen calls like that made a lot. Russ Smith's foul on Dixon at half court could have easily been a no call or possibly an offensive foul. They made the right calls for both sides a lot and missed a few calls on both sides.
With all the calls we were getting at the end of the game; the one call we didn't get was when Dixon was tripped as he made the layup. If that doesn't go in the crowd would have gone crazy.
I was surprised that was not called.
I had to apologize to the lady next to me for what i said on that play.
that being said, the refs were not even close to an issue in that game.
Why did you apologize?

I thought the refs were favoring Louisville in the first half, particularly the gray haired gentleman. They seemed to do a complete 180 in the second half though.

The lane violation was correct. It did not take away the 1st free throw, but CBS did.
The flagrant foul was flagrant.
Michael Dixon's head bob suckered the refs into calling several non-existence fouls. It worked, but it is getting old.
Is Dixon's head bob getting old or finally getting good enough to sell to the refs? I still chuckle at them but the refs seem like they are whistling them more lately.

It is so embarrassing that we think everyone is out to get us, the refs did a great job in the Louisville game, we do foul and break rules from time to time, it really does happen!!!

The last time we legitimately fouled somebody was 2011.

I let a rather loud F bomb slip out. Not really my style, at least in public amongst strangers.
