Big Ten exploring Friday night games in next TV deal?

Why can't they take the Tuesday & Wednesday night games?

Well, they won't be competing with the MAC, except for Black Friday games.

This is a bluff, the B10 would piss off so many HS programs, coaches would put all kinds of heat on AD's to shut this down, not gonna happen and I wish the MAC wouldn't play friday nites either.

What the MAC should do is schedule late Sat nite starts like 9 or 10PM local time. Yeah the game's won't get over till after midnight but who turns in before 1AM on Sat nite anyway. This could get the MAC on ESPN late night.

I will guess that this will hurt Boise St/MWC the most, BYU second and the AAC third.

I doubt any of these teams/conferences will agree to play on Tuesday or Wednesday in November so I think this is not a bad thing for the MAC.

Actually if some B1G teams within MAC territory play on Friday night maybe we could see a small attendance boost within regions where those games are played due to more MAC Alums actually going to a MAC game!
