Tulsa's Upcoming Showdown in Taco Town
Tulsa vs UTEP one last time in the CUSA this Thursday. This one is for all the Tacos...

Tulsa is looking to secure a top 4 seed for the C-USA Tourney (Meaning a double bye) If we win we still have a shot at winning the whole Enchilada with some help from UAB. It looks like whoever wins this game falls out of the top 4 and loses the second bye in the tournament. It's going to be War. Hopefully we can bring some hype into the AAC with a good finish this year.

I think we're doing fine. If we win we will break the RPI 100 which we've flirted with a couple of times since Doug Wojcik was fired but haven't gone above yet.

Thanks for the nice comment owlfan.

There are 5 pretty good teams at the top of CUSA this season. If Tulsa loses at El Paso, we will most likely end up a 5 seed with a 12-4 conference record. That will make the NCAA bid much more difficult to earn.

Our current 9 man rotation includes 1 Sr. ( who averages 5 pts. per game ) 0 Jr., 7 Soph. & 1 Fr. We have improved a lot thru the season. We are up from 150 ( at New Years ) to 93 on Sagarin. With 2 players redshirting & 2 good recruits coming in, we should be pretty good next season.

Tulsa is playing MUCH better basketball right now. They had a strong out of conference schedule with a rating of 63 and unfortunately didn't fare very well. They have played themselves into contention in a very weak CUSA and have a great shot at winning the thing. The schools in this conference that are unfamiliar with Tulsa are going to be very surprised with their basketball.

Tulsa has a great chance to win the cusa tournament.
Id love to see a future 'AAC' team in the tourney, it'd make our league look that much better even without y'all in it. It's going to be hell, but y'all got a shot.

Go Tulsa 04-cheers
