MyBB UCONN women helping AAC members set attendance records
Some people here may not care because it's women's basketball, but commentators at the UCONN-SMU game just said that SMU set an attendance record tonight for women's basketball at Moody. This is in addition to record crowds at UCF, Memphis, and Temple earlier this year.

Hopefully we can continue to elevate each other's performance and attendance in all sports. 04-cheers

We're "elevating" UConn's "performance and attendance." Well I'll be damned.

And for the first 17 minutes of the game, SMU played as tough as anyone else that UCONN has faced this season. With the success of your men's program and amazing home court advantage, I wouldn't be surprised to see the SMU women follow in the men's footsteps.

I doubt we're even doing that --- they're that good. But there is that slight possibility -- so let's go with it. 04-rock

The Memphis men's team did help sell out the XL Center in Hartford for the first time since 2012. I expect to see both our football teams have a rise in attendance as well. 04-rock

Looks like we will be setting a record when UConn comes to town Monday night. 22K looks like it might happen.

Good to hear. I feel like the Louisville-UCONN women didn't have enough time to develop a proper rivalry. Hope to see you on the schedule in future years.

Louisville is setting records at SMU. Seats for our game next month are going for as high as $1,500. And I gave mine away to a friend - doh!!!

Believe me when I say if we can keep UConn winning within single digits it will be considered a victory. That's how dominant your program is 04-cheers

Do you think you may move a big time game to a larger Dallas venue in future years, especially if the demand for tickets is so high (men's game wise)?

Yes we will go to American Airlines Center. Luckily Mark Cuban attends games and donates to the school.
