Florida No. 1 in new AP poll, receiving 47 of 65 first-place votes. Wichita State No. 2 (14 first-place votes). Arizona No. 3 (4 FP votes).

It's almost certain now that the AAC will have 5 teams in the Dance. And UConn does have that win versus #1 Florida. That should help in their NCAA seeding come Tournament time.

With two of your last three games against ranked teams I could see SMU in the Top 25 at the end of the regular season w/ good showings --- just as long as you guys don't stumble (aka 'lose') against UCF.

Find it hard to believe those 80's SMU team with Jon Koncack, Larry Davis, Carl Wright, and Butch Moore never made a coaches poll. . . Or was there a coaches poll back then?
