Put him in at left tackle. It would take 7-8 seconds to go around him.

He's being recruited more for football than basketball. Has a Ms. State offer supposedly.

New Champlin article:

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/...lliam.html

"Local UAB fans will have their best chance to see Lee at BJCC Arena before he dons the green and gold next year. Wednesday's winner plays in the 4A state championship on Saturday at 11 a.m. against J.O. Johnson or Wilcox Central."

That first photo in the the "best player" article is crazy. If Mehinti contiues to develop, we could have some serious shot blocking ability next year.

6'9" 350 & plays with a mouth guard. Coach Hasse or Coach Clark, please sign this guy next year. Mr. Furlow can be left tackle and an enforcer in the paint.

I was in Montgomery last week and saw the Dallas County/Bibb County game at ASU. Lee had a nice game with about 4 -5 blocks, several boards....he has a nice outside jumper as well and can hit free throws as well. Not only did he block shots he altered probably twice as many as he blocked. That big guy they had is a LOAD and had a nice game as well. Their guards are fun to watch!!! Quick as lightning!!! They are a fun team to watch.

Stacy Long ‏@AStacyLong
If AHSAA records complete/accurate, Hall is 18th player to record at least 12 blocks. Listed record is 26 by Dallas County's William Lee.

Lee has to be the highest rated high school recruit UAB has signed in at least the past 10 years, right? I know kinnard was a top 150 guy, but he wasn't nearly as high as Lee.

I'm getting really excited thinking about all the players we have coming in next year.

I know he came to us via transfer, but what was vaden ranked coming out of high school?

Vaden was voted most likely to smoke weed.

Vaden and Kinnard were all conference players, in fact over the last ten years, we have had at least one player make an all conference team.
