App and GS will get listed with every game type thread we do between now and June 30 when WKU peacefully exits our company. I'd just go ahead and get used to it.

Its worth noting that this is the last regular season week for App and GS, so outside of the SoCon Tournament, they wont appear much in future threads.

Funny how it's always a WKU that complains why are you so concerned when your status is just as lacking or more... You're leaving so who cares how well you do on the way out, we are coming in so it's good to watch us to see how well we will perform, meaning in bball we will perform pretty awful

Whatever, Yosef. Still have a ton of respect for the Mountaineers, I'm one of the few on this board who has been to Boone (loved it). Seems like a lot of animosity from some posters against WKU here near the end. Some dumb and inflammatory from a few (very few) WKU posters.Shame it has to end this way after 32 years.Good Luck to APP State in the future.

Well...you guys are on your way out. WKU is still a league team through June 30th, but the board has pretty much chosen to treat App and GS as current members, even though they don't officially join until July 1st.

In the end...that means their games will be listed under these threads. If ASU ever leaves the league, I would expect and hope we would get similar treatment.

Don't mean to be inflammatory but what chiefs fan said is true we have been mentioned all year and all year I've seen WKU fans saying why with no other schools doing that, I would prefer to have a jovial relationship with WKU I just don't like the fact the team leaving the conference has given the teams joining the conference so much crap, Boone is a beautiful place, I've never gotten to see much of Kentucky and haven't been to WKU but I hope someday we have a OOC matchup so I can come check it out

We won't be mentioned much longer this basketball season. Unfortunately the way the bball seasons have gone for Ga. Southern and App. St. I have a strong feeling our seasons are about to be over. We both have 2 conference games left, then the SoCon tourney. Both App. St. and Ga. Southern have a long way to go in bball-- there is no doubt there. Here at Ga. Southern I think most fans put baseball ahead of basketball as a sport they choose to support.

I fully expect App. St. to go in a different direction with their head coach after this season. At Ga. Southern we have a 1st year coach this year and although we are 12-17 which is not good at least we are competitive. We have only lost by double digits something like 4 or 5 times this year. There is hope next year we will be better.

Probably best case scenario is for App. St. and Ga. Southern to be in the middle of the Sun Belt next year and we could easily be at the bottom.

Yea I think capel was a reach and it didn't pan out maybe we can steal buzz from coastal, then again he may have gone there for retirement, can't blame him, if I could go to work at a university on the Carolina shore in my later years I definately would

Not sure if we will have sustained success in the Belt, but I think we will surprise some folks next year. We will have three stud seniors, two of whom were out this year, in Ferguson, Wiedeman and Hewitt. If Ferguson and Wiedeman can gel with the other guys early, then watch out.

ASU beats NAIA Lyon College tonight in front of a family and friends only crowd that might have hit the 1K mark. Final Score was 65-39.

I didn't go because I went to our baseball game which was happening at the same time and far more important than watching us beat up on an NAIA school.
