Actually, I dream about going to school, but not knowing where my locker is, nor my combination to the locker, nor my schedule and which class I am to go to.

I graduated over 20 years ago, and I still have the "I'm on the other side if campus and the final starts in 1 minute, and now I can't find the class" dream. and the nightmare about the class I never went to (technical writing), and was told by a classmate that presentations had been assigned, and mine was to be given the next day. something very close to that actually happened.

Missing classes, intergalactic space wars, and p@ssy. Call them the "Big 3".

I dream I'm back in the Air Force and the operations officer of the squadron I am in tells me I need to get a check ride. I realize that I haven't flown in over 20 years and do not have a clue about what I need to do for the mission or the airplane. I try to tell them I need training before a check ride. Something like this actually happened when I got into my first operational aircraft. The training was really lacking but the war was on and they needed to fill the cockpit. The day before the check ride, my boss told me I needed to go take the pre-requisit tests. I said, "what do the tests cover?" He said just study the master question file. I said, "what is that?" They had forgotten to issue that to me. I stayed up all night memorizing questions and answers. I not only dream about this, it haunts me as I am doing yard work thinking about it. Fighter jocks are type one personalities and I have been trying to break that inclination for years. I haven't worn a watch since I retired as a result.

Been a long time since I was in college, but I still have recurring dreams where I've forgotten to attend a class more than midway through the semester. Also, I'm showing up for track practice, but my capabilities are diminished since I'm now 44 and not 22.
