RE: CUSA Scores, Standings and Scenarios
Out of all of our WTF conference losses, Tulane will prove to be the most damaging. Unless we win out, we will likely be confined to 8th or 9th place, whereas we could've been tied for 6th currently with the tiebreaker over both teams.

Unless they have changed the tiebreaker rules, when more than two teams are tied, the best records against the tied teams is used to determine the tiebreaker.
Here's what I come up with
USM 2-1
UTEP 1-1
Tulsa 1-1
La Tech 1-2
I believe the tiebreaker between UTEP and Tulsa is going down to see how they do against the seeds until you get a difference. You have to go all the way down to UAB, which lost to UTEP and beat Tulsa, giving UTEP the tiebreaker.
I don't know if they have changed the tiebreaker (they seem to tweak them every year), but this is what I am doing for this exercise.

I don't like that scenario one bit. Playing charlotte then MTSU is a horrible draw.

RE: CUSA Scores, Standings and Scenarios
Honestly in my mind, it's about getting the easiest first round game possible, while avoiding the UTEP side of the bracket. Clearly of the possible opponents in the second round, they would be the worst to draw.
