Did the Rockets have the best pass rush in the nation in 2013?
This site crunched the statistics and seems to think so:
http://www.footballstudyhall.com/2014/2/...e-rankings
scroll down to adjusted sack rate. Stats of % sacks per passing play, adjusted depending on down & yardage & number of sacks the opponent normally gives up. 4 MAC teams in the top 25 ... and then UMass is dead last.
Don't know if this is an accurate statistical measure or not, but thought it was interesting. Feel free to discuss.

We were better than we have been, but what matters most is that we beat UBG Then our guys beat them in hoops at UT. Then they beat them at BG. Now last year our rush wasn' t as good. But we still beat BG And again in hoops. Our pass rush has not been great for four years but we keep beating BG.

Probably not, but it was definitely improved. Nice to see us getting some pressure and sacks.

Could be accurate, but what killed us was are secondary, couldn't stop a clock.

Though we'd all love to have a MAC Championship in addition to beating BG four years in a row in football including a total sweep of your scrubby teams this year in football and both men's basketball games, you should ask us whether we'd rather have a MAC Championship and losses to you in football four years in a row and losses to you in both basketball games this year or what we actually have minus your MACC. Go ahead...ask us. ;-)

Holy Smoke, 18 hours to think about this, to ponder four straight years of futility in football, three straight hoops losses, dismal failures in nearly every regard against Toledo, failures that we know are just killing you and that's the best you can do? 18 hours?

Yeah......I've been busy watching our defending MAC Champion baseball team play this weekend. I'll try and be more timely from now on if there is something worth responding to.

Yeah, you cling to that. You forget though, that your little name shows up when you:re on here. You've not been watching baseball ALL day. 18 hours and your response to four years of BG athletic futility is "baseball" and "well, uh, we beat other teams, just not Toledo". Snappy. Next you'll be blaming the former AD, the best one BG has had in decades, Greg Christopher.
BTW, what did you watch that mighty Falcon team do today? Win? Or the other thing?

Well, you do have to give them credit for coming out of nowhere and winning the MACC. And when I say nowhere I do mean Bowling Green.
