Movies you'd recommend.
My wife and I have been very busy and have not seen a movie in years in the theater.

Do any of you have MUST SEE movies to recommend to us.

Thank you.

This seems off the wall, but i haven't heard of a single person disliking the Lego Movie yet, from ANY age groups. Dunno if you're into the animated family style movies, but it seems like that might be a safe bet.

RE: Movies you'd recommend.
You mention you haven't seen a movie in theaters for a while so I'll just mention some movies that I really liked over the past couple years.

- The Place Beyond the Pines
- Wolf On Wallstreet
- American Hustle
- Blackfish (documentary about Seaworld and Killer Whales, its really interesting)
- The Way Way Back
- Argo
- The Cabin In The Woods
- Searching for Sugarman (documentary about a musician who now lives in Detroit who became famous on another continent and didn't even realize it)
- Django Unchained
- Goon

We just saw Lone Survivor on Monday... seriously kick-ass movie.

(We make it to roughly two movies per year ourselves. When they're free at the library and $12+ at the theatre - and you own a theatre-style popcorn machine yourself...)

Lone Survivor was a great movie.

12 Years a Slave was the best movie I've seen in years, though. Powerful.
