MidTen blew out Charlotte tonight and is really hitting their stride at the right time. I think the top two teams now are UTEP and MidTen, followed by USM, Tulsa and then LATech.
Thinking about it now, you are right. MT is looking good, UTEP will not quit, and I think Tulsa is a darkhorse in all this.

Anybody notice the run we went on at the end of the game with Batten on the bench? I don't think we would have won tonight with him in during that stretch. Man he is struggling.

I think there are going to be a few more nights like this; team is tired. I know Jones said everyone's worn down and is trying to push these guys through it mentally, but lack of depth has got to catch up with you at some point. Leg-weary shooters really suffer with the Thur-Sat rotation. No time to rest.

No love for Ross' 2 spectacular dunks? and for those of you who ***** constantly about the students, it was spirit night. Lots of students making lots of noise. Of course it's only for one game, but give 'em some credit.
Bacote definetly looks tired. His shot is off. Battens game seems to be deteriorating, hope Moseley does get his minutes. Great hustle play by Palmore late in second half, dove for loose ball, scooped it up and threw it to teammate.

Battens career is coming to an end at ODU and Ambrose definitely deserves all his minutes, but JJ will let him go out with respect not sitting on the bench. Our last coach would not have done that.

I know ebondo is a liability on offense, but if he's right underneath the basket he need to take the shot. he got a couple in tonight. I liked Ross's jumper in the first half too. if he works on that in the offseason to the point where its relatively consistent that will be huge next season.

We play 8, sometimes 9 players. I am so sick of hearing about how tired guys are. There are a hundred teams that don't go any deeper than us, and many of them are ranked. It sure as hell isn't like we are running up and down the court for 40 minutes. Ross is the only player on the team, that could possibly use that excuse, and he is playing as well as he has all season. The fact is that teams have committed to not guarding anybody but Bacote, and now Mosely outside 15 feet, and all of the drives and open 3s that Bacote was getting, and all of the drives that Palmore was getting are no longer there because the entire defense is in the lane and/or doubling Bacote. Our opponents have adjusted, we havent. That is why we can't score. Not because our poor kids are soooo tired from having to play 30 minutes or less a game. Yes, that is correct. Nobody outside of Ross (33 min) is averaging more than 30 minutes per game. That is NOT a lot of minutes.

I don't see Moseley starting at point; I see Freeman, with a Freeman/Bacote starting backcourt. Palmore (if he hangs) and Moseley and Clark (if he hangs) off the bench
