Yes of course we weren't perfect.

Yes if they made a few more plays they could have won.

We can all identify some mistakes and so can they.

Of course they should strive to correct those.

BUT - there are very few perfect games, even in victory.

They left it all on the court and I am 100% proud of all players and staff.

They got after it and this game should just give them more confidence, poise, and fire.

I really, really, really liked Geron's coast to coast-taking it to the basket plays! Thats all he needs to do because he's fast, strong and can finish. In fact im impressed with the entire team effort to take it to the basket nearly every time and being very selective with the outside shots except for a few bad jumpers by CC

Agreed. No shame for the Tigers, just two good teams that I think will surprise folks in the dance.

I agree with you 100% and I am even more proud of you for not bringing up the refs.

Oops, I did that in another thread!

But I just wanted to make this one about things they could control, and despite not being perfect, they made a good showing for themselves.

Yeah I saw it, refs favored Uconn for sure, it happens, they have favored us several times for sure also, that is never brought up, we had the opportunity to win even against the refs. I am also proud of the team and the coach.

Lets not go there. I would ask you to tell me which games the other team outplayed us and the officials dramatically favored us. But I don't want to distract from the point of this thread.

We played really well. No shame in that loss. Still sucks though.
