You must not be fully reading this thread. We are saying the refs sucked, but (luckily) they didn't affect the outcome of the game. UT did not deserve to win. EMU did. Refs sucked on Saturday (along with UT). End of story.

RE: Time for a Team-Only Meeting
On ESPN online there is a story about a blown call in the Arizona vs. ASU game and the league officials admit it was a blown call. In the reader postings below everyone is like "Pac 12 officials are the worst on the planet." Then there are others that chime in and say "no, our refs are the worst." The percieved issue of bad refs is everwhere. The last referee straw that broke my back was UT vs. Syracuse blown extra point, or was it the mysterious 1st down call vs. FIU in our bowl game.

Yes MBC, you and a few others are the voice of reason here...but...

rocketpaul Wrote:If the refereeing was even that 7 footer would have fouled out in the first half and their defense would not have been as issue.

Terry Wrote:It was still aweful!!!!!!

Their point guard would reach and clear out with his forearm causing the contact and the Rocket defender was being called for a blocking foul.

Also, Eastern walked all over the place. And since when does Juice Brown get called for palming the ball?????

But it's not just this example...it's a trend...see it quite often in Women's basketball and definetly in football. And I'm not trying to imply you're that much worse than other schools as you're not. It's just a pet peeve of mine that I grew out of like 20 years ago. 03-wink 04-cheers

I think that quote is grounds for banishment from this board!!!!!
All in favor???!!!!!

btw, I gave actual examples of bad call. and the 7 footer could have fouled out twice with the no calls on him.....

Tommy outgrew blaming refs for losses but apparantly hasn't outgrown his unhealthy fascination with the male member.02-13-banana

Teams have nights like that. they'll be fine. Like letting steam out of a kettle to reduce pressure or something. We have a pretty kind schedule the rest of the way.

Yes that was the time of season, to lose, and learn from it.
Agree the schedule is favorable.
6 left... all we should be favored.
