What were concessions like, food-wise?

RE: Baseball sweeps UT-Martin..
The attendance will be significantly better than at Young if for no other reason than there will actually be a place for more than 750 people to sit down at one time. I loved playing at Young. The field itself was great, and the sounds that made you feel like you were playing baseball on an oasis in the middle of an active, large city/campus made it different than anywhere else I ever played. But the opportunity to move the games to a minor league stadium that is practically on campus is just too perfect. Attendance will be much, much better just because people looking for something to do on a nice weekend will flock to Regions Field no matter who is playing. And then hopefully the team will be good, and the entertainment experience will be pleasant enough, that it will create new UAB baseball fans.

But the key is the weather. Anybody who goes to a baseball game when it's below 50 degrees is a crazy person. And that's coming from someone who loves baseball more than anything in the world. I think we'll see some really good crowds in late March and April. But February baseball is and always has been the dumbest thing the NCAA does (which is a very high bar). College baseball will always be a regional sport because most northern teams can't participate at the same level as the southern teams.

I went to a game a few years ago when we played USM in 29 degree weather in February.
Yep, I was crazy.

I think certainly the additional seating, souvenir shop, & eating facilities will help with the attendance.

Better parking may also help out. (I am assuming it is better just based off of what it was at Young, not with experience at Regions yet)

Where's your blue font?

What is a respectable attendance number for a D1 baseball game? Not being a smart azz; I really don't know the answer.
I was hoping it was obvious enough that the blue was understood

They had the main two concession stands open with full menu (as far as I knew). Prices are the same as Barons: slice of pizza plus a 32 oz. drink was $8.

The day games were really awesome. It was great to be there. If you didn't make it, think seriously about attending the upcoming series if the weather is decent.

They've played for one weekend and won two more February games than the basketball team...

We aren't a baseball power. Sweeping any team is a great thing for this program. The entire conference got off to a pretty good start this past weekend, hopefully that will continue this week.

If we were to finish .500+ next year in football, I wouldn't give a damn what our opponents' records were.

First time since 2005. We won again tonight against Alabama A&M to make it 5-0. First time we've started 5-0 since 2004. We started out 7-0 in 2004 before finishing 30-28.

It's great we are 5-0 but it is the equivalent of our basketball team being 5-0 against the same level competition. I think UTM is projected last in their league and A&M is not very good at all. Still it's a great start and hopefully will help build confidence.
