And if Toledo brings hundred and hundreds of fans, well, I'm sure the box office will help (the area behind the basket adjacent to the visitor bench is EMU student seating). Student crowds have been significant for some games.

I'd avoid the upper deck (to save $2) unless someone really likes the birds eye view...

Lower bowl seating is excellent.

I do recall standing in line for tickets shortly after the new building opened. Gentleman ahead of me was perplexed as to why there was such a long line-he had never seen it that long before. Seemed surprised to find that Toledo fans would travel to see the Rockets play. I also remember attending a game where the cheerleaders launched EMU shirts into the stands. After about ten minutes my daughter walked down a couple rows and picked one up. When she returned I gave her the stink eye and she said "Dad-it's FREE". The place has been a ghost town at times. I suspect that won't be the case today. EMU will turn out a good crowd. Toledo is hampered by the fact that the ladies will draw 3500-4000 for their game. I hate the timing- a noon start, or ideally, a seven o'clock start for one of the games game would have made the double header possible.

For the UT game last year the usher behind the UT bench was checking tickets.

FWIW, EMU is now a one point favorite at the big Vegas sports books (e.g., LV Hilton, Wynn, Mirage, etc.).

Over/under line is 143 1/2.

Consensus is pk. Sportsbook.com has UT -1.5.

I highly recommend not betting.

Tough call I know the big casinos and they have EMU. I don't know the other entities. Never heard of them.

I count EMU 4, Pk em 2, and UT 1.

That should mean Is a 1/2 point favorite.

EDIT: I see the odds (picks) have changed in the last 5 minutes. Back to a pick em game and the total points is down.

I see your point (er, 1/2 point. 03-lmfao).

Very good game so far.

Eagles aren't flying very high, but the Rockets haven't got off the launch pad.

Rockets have their lowest first half output of the season.

EMU 26, UT 22 "At the half".

Riley's offense can be scary when he has problems with his hands or feet or both, but his defense can be truly awesome.

I believe Toledo got 8 points in the paint per our broadcaster.

Disgusting play by the Rockets. Really felt like all the (lack of) calls that were going against, but we were playing well enough to deserve the win anyway.

And the db in the front of the student section was comical. Chirping away the entire game. Whne toledo fans dish back some non vulger insults he tried to get some people kicked out. Lol

Haha I figured someone would complain about the refs. They blew plenty of calls both ways...just like college refs always do.

More so for Toledo, but hey, the Rockets played like crap anyways so we can't put any blame on the refs.

EMU is a top 100 RPI team so not a bad loss for Toledo but the Rockets will now finish the season just 1-3 vs RPI top 100 teams on the road which might effect their at large chances.

The refs were inconsistent - both ways. They would let everyone beat and bang down low, then call touch fouls at half court.

Exactly. No consistency with foul calls. Guys would get mugged with no whistle, and then the infamous "hand check" calls would rear their ugly heads. But this is commonplace with college refs. No one should be surprised.
