Guess they're just figuring UTEP will win the tourney at home and Southern Miss won't get an at-large. It's completely possible. If we lose two or more regular season games from here on and don't win the tourney, we aren't getting an at-large. I don't care what our RPI is.

A little bulletin board material for the team.

It would be best for the conference if UTEP or La Tech and USM faced off in the championship and USM lost, with USM taking the regular season title.

That's really the only chance the conference has at two bids. Pretty unlikely though I think.

Yeah. That's one of three out of 74 brackets listed on bracketmatrix.com that does not have Southern Miss in.

When he updated the bracket UTEP had a half game lead because they won Thursday night and we didn't play until Friday.

I wouldn't mind a 1966 National Championship rematch with Kentucky at all . Haha
